Rev. James Eric Scott, Sr. was born in Dover, DE. After graduating from Dover High School, he attended West Chester University for 2 years majoring in music education. Soon after returning home from college, he began his studies to become a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International and has been a minister of the gospel for 24 years.
On June 20, 1998, Rev. Scott was married to his lovely wife, Okemah. They have been blessed with six wonderful children - Ezri, Sean, Lecia, Eric Jr, Jaylin, and Christian.
Rev. Scott was elected as the Pastor of Fountain of Life Church on November 14, 2010. Prior to taking on the pastorate responsibility, Pastor Scott has served as Minister of Music, Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, MD/DC District Youth Committee member, Evangelist, musician for the West Chester University Gospel Choir, and the director of the Washington College Gospel Choir, Chestertown, MD. Pastor Scott is also a song writer and composer.
